The Story of Tongjin Bags
When a product is still being developed—or the first order is not large—it can be difficult to find a manufacturer willing to take the project seriously.
Our founders had already spent years working with bag manufacturing, materials and supply chains. They saw how often smaller brands struggled to get practical product-development support, so in 2014 they set out to build a different kind of manufacturing business.
Many early projects began with a sample, a small production run or an idea that still needed developing. As customers returned and recommended us, we expanded our workshops and strengthened our sampling and quality-control processes.
Our business has grown considerably. Our approach to working with customers has not.
Our Team and Manufacturing Facilities
Your sales contact listens to your requirements and coordinates communication, but the work behind the project is shared by people with specific responsibilities.
Product-development and sampling specialists turn ideas into practical samples. Purchasing and production-planning teams organise materials and schedules, while production and quality-control teams work to maintain consistency throughout manufacturing.
Some of our experienced sampling specialists have worked with us for more than ten years. Their knowledge is particularly useful when a project involves unfamiliar materials, complicated structures or detailed branding requirements.
Sampling
Your idea is translated into a practical sample so potential material, construction and branding issues can be evaluated early.
Production Coordination
Materials, schedules and approved requirements are coordinated across the people responsible for bringing the product into production.
Quality Control
Quality control runs through manufacturing, helping reduce the gap between the approved sample and the finished production.
A Customer Story That Started with 100 Bags
An American customer came to us after several manufacturers had declined her project. She needed only 100 bags in two colours—50 pieces of each.
We agreed to help and worked with her to produce the bags. She was so pleased with the result that she sent our team chocolates from America as a thank-you.
That small first order became a lasting business relationship. As her bag business grew, she returned for new designs and continued working with us.
Sometimes, a long-term partnership begins with just 100 bags.
Feasible order quantities depend on the design, materials and manufacturing requirements of each project.
How Our Team Approaches Production Challenges
Ultra-thin PVC + gradient print
A customer wanted an ultra-thin PVC cosmetic bag with a large gradient-printed logo.
Unreliable printing in production
The original combination could blur, stretch or lose colour. We prepared samples to show how the design could behave in real manufacturing conditions.
Matt TPU or silver-foil branding
We proposed two alternatives. The customer selected matt TPU, which was better suited to the gradient effect, and the product moved into production.
Long-Term Customer Relationships
Your cosmetic bag may be part of a skincare launch, a retail collection or a promotional campaign with a fixed deadline. A problem with materials, quality or delivery can affect the whole project—not only the bag.
Clear Communication
Know what is happening at each stage, from sampling through production and shipment.
Careful Sampling
Identify practical risks before committing to mass production.
Consistent Workmanship
Quality control throughout manufacturing helps maintain the expectations established by the approved sample.
Direct Problem Solving
When an issue arises, receive a clear explanation of the trade-offs and practical options for moving forward.
